Yvonne has only 3 radiation treatments left. Wow, what a bloody hideous journey she's been on throughout the last 3 months. The awesome thing about it all has been her amazing positivity. A lesson to us all really. No matter how shitty your day is, for whatever reason, there is always someone out there battling a bigger battle!
That aside it has been an incredible insight to see how someone deals with this awful disease. I'm so impressed and in awe with Yvonne's positive attitude. It has to hold her in good stead for beating this bastard that WAS in her. I'm sure her positivity also impacted on Sammy as I haven't noticed any difference in her behaviour or attitude or learning in the classroom.
