The kids in my class are working towards a readers and writers festival which is in 3 weeks time. They believe they are readers, however, they are struggling to believe they are writers. Apparently you have to have a hard cover book that you can buy in the bookshops to be a 'writer'! In comes Sammy.....
Sammy had a day off last week. Her mum is my friend Yvonne. She decided on her day off to write a letter to the Coatesville Chronicle. Little did she realise that they would actually publish her 'story' about her mum and her teacher's crusade for her mum! Sammy will be a published writer! I can't wait until it is published and she brings it into share. Perfect!
